Abstract

Air pollution and climate change have numerous health hazards for pregnant mothers and children. Therefore, environmental protection activities should be considered a health priority. The importance of environmental factors on maternal and child health care should be considered one of the main public health priorities for primordial/primary prevention of chronic diseases. © Springer Science+Business Media New York 2014.
