Abstract

To achieve an acceptable result in septorhinoplasty, sufficient septal cartilage is needed. There are many cases in which septal cartilage is insufficient, especially in revision surgery or in some races such as Asian. To obtain an ideal outcome, a bony cartilaginous unit (septal cartilage/ethmoid bone composite graft) is proposed as a versatile graft for different purpose such as caudal extension graft. © 2017, Springer Science+Business Media New York and International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
