Abstract

We describe a patient with proliferative diabetic retinopathy who had laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK). Rapid progression and pronounced aggravation of diabetic retinopathy occurred after LASIK, resulting in severe visual loss in both eyes. © 2003 ASCRS and ESCRS.
