Abstract

From the public view, the midface concavity often looks unattractive and makes the face look older than the person’s actual age. Solutions suggested to resolve the volume deficiency in the paranasal area include LeFort I and/or malar osteotomy and autogenous or alloplastic graft. In this chapter, we will discuss various ways to modify the defects of the midface area. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2021.
