Abstract

Endocrine disorders have a noticeable impact on individuals’ quality of life, as they can affect patients’ cellular metabolism and the functioning of different organs in the body. These disorders are risk factors for developing other diseases. Furthermore, these disorders also account for the fifth cause of mortality worldwide (5% in women and 4% in men) [1]. Endocrine disorders impose a significant social and economic burden on the healthcare system.
