Abstract

Using animal models to help the development of a new medication and research has a long history. Various animals are utilized in research based on their physical and biological features. Rodents, primates, fish, birds, insects, and nematodes are among the most frequently benefited animals in biological research. However, due to ethical issues, computational models are developed which could gain the attention of scientists. © 2024 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
