Abstract

A 26-year-old multiple trauma patient had undergone brain computed tomography due to possible traumatic brain injury. A crescent sign was seen in his eyes. Blood in the subarachnoid space could flow through the glymphatic system to the intra-ocular space and cause vitreous hemorrhage. Since this condition is sight-threatening, every patient with subarachnoid hemorrhage needs indirect ophthalmoscopy which is the golden standard for vitreous hemorrhage diagnosis. © 2023 Elsevier Inc.
