Abstract

With respect to compounds with one ring junction nitrogen atom and three extra heteroatoms (3,0), a host of reported information has been set forward. In this chapter the most important breakthroughs in this topic including synthesis routes of the nominated compounds, their application as catalytic systems in organic reactions and their biological activities are summarized. Furthermore, their most significant characteristic spectroscopic properties are considered to give a detailed account of some compounds features. © 2022 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
