Fundus Fluorescein Angiography (FFA) has become an indispensable and essential tool in the diagnosis and management of many retinal conditions e.g. retinovascular disease, inflammatory conditions, and tumors since 1961 when fluorescein angiography was presented in ophthalmic imaging by Novotny and Alvis. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2021.
